We’ll always have Paris…

Bonjour Friends! Okay, that’s really the only French I’ve learned in preparation for our big trip to Europe. We’re heading to Paris, Amsterdam, London and Brighton and I’m so excited I could lose my mind! This is my first time out of the country (well, besides Canada. I grew up in Buffalo, NY, which is only 15 minutes away from the Canadian boarder…so we used to go there a lot without a thought. Especially once I turned 18, which coincides with the fact that 18 was the legal drinking age in Canada. But…that’s neither here nor there lol. Moving on…) So, I’ve been on a mission to read as many books about Paris as I can and then purchase as many books about Amsterdam and England while I’m there 🙂 Here’s a great list of Parisian books that you might enjoy, whether you’re planning a visit or not! Also, let me know if there are any that I should add to the list.

A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway

The Paris Wife by Paula McLain

The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery

The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George

Giovanni’s Room by James Baldwin

My Life in France by Julia Child

Paris for One by Jojo Moyes

Paris by the Book by Liam Callanan

The Light of Paris by Eleanor Brown

Small Country by Gael Faye

Les Miserables by Victor Hugo

The Only Street in Paris: Life on the Rue de Martyrs by Elaine Scolio
